Driver Qualifications

  • Must be at least 25 years of age with at least 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must pass all applicable criminal and past employment background checks.
  • Must pass D.O.T physical.
  • MVR and driving record must meet all other D.O.T and New Waverly Transportation safety requirements.
  • Drivers are required to have a cell phone with them at all times.

Safety Regulations

  • Truck and Trailer must pass D.O.T and NWT inspection criteria at the time of leasing.
  • All equipment must pass D.O.T inspection criteria at all times.
  • All equipment will be subject to New Waverly Transportation’s internal safety inspections.
  • ELD Provided for a small monthly monitoring fee.
